December 2019 Homosassa Springs State Park, Florida The bald eagle is the national bird of the United States of America. The bald eagle appears on its seal. In the late 20th century it was on the brink of extirpation in the contiguous United States. Populations have since recovered and the species was removed from the U.S. government's list of endangered species on July 12, 1995 and transferred to the list of threatened species. It was removed from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife in the contiguous states on June 28, 2007.
My love of the arts began at a young age. Always one to enjoy color and light, it was clear early on that I would share my passion with others. Through my innovative fine art photography, I am able to enhance the world as I see it, creating memorable and unique images. I am endlessly inspired by the nature around me and especially influenced by flowers, scenery, and wildlife.
