Description
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Mary who lived in a small town where it hardly ever snowed. She had heard about the joys of seeing snow covered ivy, but had never seen it herself.
One winter, the town was hit by a heavy snowstorm that left everything covered in a blanket of snow. As Mary peered out of her window, she was amazed to see a thick layer of snow covering everything outside including the ivy that grew on the side of her house.
She ran outside to take a closer look. The snow clung to all of the little branches and leaves, making it look like the ivy had been dipped in frosting. She stood back and admired the sparkling white ivy which looked so majestic in the winter afternoon.
Mary was mesmerized by the sight in front of her, and couldn’t believe her luck. That night, she went to bed with a smile on her face, thankful for having seen such a beautiful sight - snow covered ivy.
