August 2015 Butler, Pennsylvania: Chipmunks are small, striped rodents of the family Sciuridae. The genus name Tamias is Greek for "treasurer", "steward", or "housekeeper", which is a reference to the animals' role in plant dispersal through their habit of collecting and storing food for winter use.
My love of the arts began at a young age. Always one to enjoy color and light, it was clear early on that I would share my passion with others.
